Pulse News for Android
Install
- Tap Download for Android. If your browser asks whether to keep the file, confirm the download.
- Open pulse-news.apk from the download notification or your Downloads folder.
- Android will say your browser is not allowed to install unknown apps: tap Settings, allow installs from this source, then go back.
- Tap Install. If Google Play Protect offers to scan the app first, let it.
To update, download and install the new version the same way; it installs over the old one.
Check the file (optional)
SHA-256 of the current version:listed in version.json
On a computer, shasum -a 256 pulse-news.apk (macOS, Linux) or
certutil -hashfile pulse-news.apk SHA256 (Windows) must print the same value.
Other devices
On a computer or any other phone, use Pulse News in your browser at pulsenews.media/app. The iPhone app is in beta testing on TestFlight and not yet in the App Store.
